Best Time to Visit Kinnaur Valley

You can visit Kinnaur Valley all year round. However, we suggest that you visit from March to June or from September to November when the valley is at its most beautiful. The spring season brings with it blooming flowers and lush greenery, while autumn is the time when the valley is painted in shades of gold and orange as the leaves of the trees change color.

How to Reach Kinnaur Valley?

By Air:

The nearest airport to Kinnaur Valley is in Shimla, which is around 250 km away. From the airport, you can hire our taxi to reach Kinnaur.

By Train:

The nearest railway station is Kalka, which is around 280 km away. From Kalka, you can again take our taxi and reach Kinnaur safely.

By Road:

If you are traveling by road, Kinnaur Valley is well-connected by road with major cities like Shimla, Chandigarh, and Delhi. The journey from Shimla to Kinnaur Valley takes around 8-9 hours, while the journey from Delhi to Kinnaur Valley takes around 18-20 hours. The roads are winding and offer breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys, but they can be treacherous in certain parts, so it's important to be careful while driving.
