Itinerary

Day1 Transfer From Delhi to Narkanda (Distance: 430 Km, Travel Time: 9-10 Hrs)

  • Arrival at Delhi Airport/Railway Station. You will be received by our representative.
  • You will be transferred from Delhi Airport/Railway Station to Narkanda via Pinjore Garden, Timbertrail, Solan, Shimla, Kufri, and Theog.
  • Drive through scenic routes while also witnessing the Kalka-Shimla Toy Train on the way, if you’re lucky.
  • Reach Narkanda and check in at your hotel.
  • Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day2 Transfer From Narkanda to Sangla (Distance: 161 Km,7-8 Hrs)

  • After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Sangla.
  • The drive will take about 6-7 hrs.
  • Reach Sangla and check in to your hotel.
  • After lunch, you will be taken on a walk through Kamru and Sangla villages (1-2 hrs).
  • Explore the beautifully carved ages-old wooden temples and Buddhist monasteries.
  • You will have plenty of opportunities to interact with the local people in these valleys. The Sangla Valley is also known as the Baspa Sangla Valley, after the river Baspa which flows through the valley and it is part of Kinnaur Valley.
  • Return to the hotel by evening and relax after a long day.
  • Overnight stay in a hotel in Sangla.

Day3 Local Sightseeing of Chitkul And Sangla Valley

  • Get up early, have breakfast, and get ready to explore the Chitkul and Sangla Villages.
  • We’ll make a small walk to Kamru Fort which has a temple dedicated to Kamaksha Devi.
  • Sangla a populous village, situated on the right bank of the Baspa River, is famous for its highly fertile soil.
  • It is situated at an elevation of 2621m above mean sea level and falls at a distance of 17 km from Karcham.
  • The houses of the village are built on a slope with each of them rising one above the other and the scene being closed by the gigantic Raldang and Kinner Kailash Peaks towering behind.
  • Chitkul is a village in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border. The Indian road ends here.
  • The Baspa Valley is considered among the prettiest valleys in the Himalayas. Its terrain and green vegetation on the slopes are not very steep.
  • You can explore the villages and interact with the locals while enjoying the local cuisine.
  • Return to your hotel in Sangla by evening.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel here.

Day4 Transfer From Sangla to Kalpa (Elevation: 2,758m/9,048ft.) (Distance: 40 km/ Travel Time: 2-3 hrs)

  • Get up early and have breakfast at the hotel.
  • Today, you will be transferred to Kalpa Village. The total journey will be around 2-3 hours.
  • Pass through scenic routes and stop at Reckongpeo, the district headquarters of Kinnaur.
  • Explore the local markets at Reckongpeo and have your lunch at a local restaurant. You will be served either Indian/Tibetan dishes as per your preference.
  • After Lunch, we will continue our journey toward Kalpa.
  • Once we reach Kalpa, you can explore Roghi and other nearby villages. These villages are covered with thick pine forests and are famous for apricots and apples.
  • Have the finest view of Mt. Kinner Kailash, a true spectacle in the morning with the sun's rays touching the snow-capped peaks, generating a sight to behold.
  • Kalpa is located at an altitude of 2759m from the mean sea level on the Old Hindustan-Tibet Road. The town was also the District headquarters of Kinnaur at some time.
  • You’ll have the entire day at your convenience to explore the local traditions, culture, and cuisine.
  • Overnight stay at your hotel in Kalpa Valley.

Day5 Transfer From Kalpa to Narkanda (Distance: 161 Km, Travel Time: 7-8 hrs)

  • Get up and have breakfast. Prepare for a long journey.
  • You will check out from the hotel and will be transferred back to Narkanda. We will pass through the scenic roads of Karchham Dam, Tapri, Jeori, and Rampur.
  • We will stop midway at a hotel for lunch. We’ll also make occasional stops for refreshments and leisure breaks.
  • Reach Narkanda by evening, where you can explore Hattu Peak and enjoy a beautiful sunset from the summit.
  • Check in at the hotel and relax.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day6 Narkanda-Delhi Drop (430 Kms,9-10 Hours)

  • Have breakfast in the morning and pack your bags.
  • After you check out from the hotel, you will be driven back to Delhi Airport/Railway Station for your journey onwards.
  • This marks the end of a memorable tour and service.
