Itinerary

Day1 Transfer from Chandigarh to Manali (Distance: 310 km, Travel Time: 8-9 Hrs)

  • Upon arrival at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our driver who will take you on a scenic drive to Manali via Bilaspur, Mandi, and Kullu.
  • Along the way, you will have several photo stops and comfort breaks, including a lunch break.
  • On the way, you will also visit the Pandoh Dam and Hanogi Devi Temple. By late evening, you will reach Manali and check in at your hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Manali.

Day2 Transfer from Manali To Kaza (2050 meters / 6726 feet) (205 km, 11 Hrs)

  • Today, you will start early in the morning at 6:30 am, as it will be a long day of driving to Kaza.
  • You will cross two high mountain passes, including the highest point of the entire journey, Kunzum Pass (4558m/14950ft), where you can visit the temple and offer prayers.
  • The Kunzum Pass offers breathtaking views of the CB ranges and glaciers.
  • You will also stop for lunch at Batal along the way.
  • In the evening, you will reach Kaza and check in at your hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Kaza.

Day3 Sightseeing around Kaza (5-6 Hrs)

  • After breakfast, you will explore the village of Langza and Chicham Bridge.
  • You can take a walk around the village, visit the monastery at the top of the village, and look out for fossils along the way.
  • You may also see yak working in the fields or grazing in the pastures.
  • If weather permits, there is an option to drive to Hikkim, and the Comic Village, which is the world's highest village at 4450m connected by a motorable road.
  • Later, you will continue your drive to Kee Monastery and the Village of Kibber(4200m), which was once considered the world's highest village.
  • You can also choose to walk to the nearby mountains to spot Himalayan Blue Sheep and Snow Ibex in the evening.
  • Lunch will be at Kibber Village in a local restaurant, where you can enjoy delicious Tibetan dishes.
  • In the evening, you will return to Kaza for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day4 Kaza - Dhankar Monastery - Tabo - Kaza (Elevation: 3200m/10500ft) (Distance: 50 Km, Travel Time: 3 H

  • After breakfast, you will visit the Tabo Monastery, which is the oldest monastery in the Himalayas.
  • Later, you will drive to Kaza, visiting the Dhankar village and Dhankar Monastery and Fort en route.
  • You will have the opportunity to have a cup of tea or lunch with a local family.
  • Afterward, you will continue your drive to Kaza, where you will check in at your hotel.
  • The evening is free to explore the Kaza market.
  • Overnight stay at your hotel in Kaza.

Day5 Kaza to Manali via Chandratal Lake, Sissu, Ata Tunnel (Elevation: 2050m/6726 ft) (Distance: 200 km,

  • Today, you will start early in the morning at 6:30 am, as it will be another long day of driving to Manali.
  • You will stop for breakfast at Chandratal Lake Camp and then for lunch at any hotel along the way.
  • You will cross two high mountain passes, including Kunzum Pass (4558 meters / 14950 feet), and visit the temple for prayers.
  • The Kunzum Pass offers stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks and glaciers.
  • You will also pass through the picturesque villages of Batal, Sissu, and Gramphu before entering the famous Atal Tunnel, one of the longest tunnels in the world, which connects Manali to Lahaul-Spiti Valley.
  • After exiting the tunnel, you will drive through Rohtang Pass, a popular tourist spot known for its scenic beauty and snow-capped mountains.
  • You will reach Manali by late evening and check in at your hotel.
  • You can explore the local attractions in and around Manali at your own expense.

Day6 Manali Sightseeing and Departure To Chandigarh(310 Km,8-9 Hrs)

  • After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel.
  • You can choose to do last-minute shopping if you want.
  • After that, you will be transferred to the Chandigarh airport or railway station for your onward journey, marking the end of your memorable trip to Manali and Kaza.
